Diva 323

My 'HOME' Country...

Very interesting, and emotional theme given by Diva in this challenge!

I am from India, and being one of the very old civilization, we have quite a few themes symbolizing India, my HOME country. Here are two themes converted into one tile. It depicts YOGA, our gift to the world, and PEACOCK our national bird! Hope you enjoy it

  1. These are absolutely gorgeous, elegant compositions. I've never been to India, but I've seen Indian motifs represented in Cambodia.

  2. Yoga, very nicely done. I did not know the peacock was your national bird. And, a beautiful bird and tile you made!

  4. Both tiles are gorgeous Dilip! I have never been to your country, but I have friends that are Indian and live here now. So they told me quite a bit about India and I even learned some (delicious) Indian cooking :-)

  9. Great work on the tiles. I like the peacock and kept wondering what it would look like with color. Probably because peacocks are generally so colorful. There was a care home in the town where I grew up and they had peacocks roaming the grounds. They were quite noisy. I also did not realize that it was India's national bird.
